Most Devoted Lord, in Your unfailing love, You help me walk uprightly and guide me with Your wisdom. You are my source of strength and freedom from the struggles and trials of my life. I once was held in bondage to my flesh and sins, but You broke down those strongholds through Your sacrifice and love for me. You protect me from my enemies, silence my tormentors and give me the strength to prevail. In Your power, You remove my obstacles and made my way clear. You battle against those who intend to do me harm and have built a hedge of protection around me. Because of Your fidelity and faithfulness, I will always praise You and hold You in high esteem. I find Your wisdom is far beyond my comprehension … Your power more vast than any I’ve seen … and, Your character beyond reproach. You resist any weapon formed against me and keep my life pretty much unscathed.
As I celebrate and honor You with my life, I am filled with an indescribable joy that I cannot contain. You have performed wonders that I can hardly imagine and performed miracles too numerous to count. You never stop doing wondrous deeds for those You love and continuously bless those who serve You willingly. You stand in the gap for me … You are the strong foundation upon which I’ve built my life … and, You are my Fortress and Deliver in whom I take refuge. Your shield of salvation wards off the fiery darts of my enemies and protects me from those who plot to do me harm. When my strength fails me in times of affliction and I am weak from the heavy load I bear, I know You will be there to carry my burdens for me. My heart trusts You unconditionally and, as a result, You make sure that my needs are met. When traps are set to ensnare me, You go before me to spring them so I do not get caught.
Be not far from me and uphold me in Your hands. For within You resides all wisdom, power, counsel and understanding. What You tear down cannot be rebuilt and whatever You set free cannot be captured again. Upon this promise, I have built my life. For You who formed the mountains, seas and sky with Your hands, all things are possible. As The Almighty, You stand up for what is just, advocate for good and have overcome evil. When my circumstances become insurmountable, dispatch Your angels to help me and show me the way to go. Do not forsake me when I am weak and do not abandon me when my strength fails me. Your ways guide me to prosperity, but those who rebel against You come to ruin. In my times of distress, lift my head and keep my eyes focused forward. It is through Your many benefits that I am blessed … help me always walk in them. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
