O Majestic King, You are the one who made heaven and earth. You rule with benevolence and Your power sustains all things. Because of my deep affection for You, I rest in the sanctuary of Your loving arms. When a calamity invades my life, if I stand in Your presence and yield to Your will, I know my outcome will be favorable. When I am weak, Your power is unlimited … when I cannot see clearly, Your wisdom sees all things… and, when I do not know what to do, You know all things. Your power and might allow You to make the seemingly impossible become possible. You have promised me in Your Word that the battle is not mine, but Yours. Therefore, it’s easy to put my trust in You and not become discouraged. When times are bleak and untenable, I can face my problems if You will stand with me and be there in the heat of battle. If I become afraid, help me remember that You have my back.
When facing tough decisions, a fog of confusion, doubt and fear rolls in. At such times, I know I can count on Your Word to be my lamp chasing away the darkness and showing me what I must do. As Your child, Your love leads me to good places for my life. I should never let fear or doubt cause me to believe my needs are not important to You or that You will leave me at the mercy of the Evil One. I know that in every struggle I face, You will be there to infuse me with courage, perseverance and wisdom. I must remain confident in the knowledge that, if You stand with me, there is no force that can prevail against me. As I face giants in my life … like, new directions, important decisions or unknown events … open my eyes to see the way to a future filled with hope, prosperity and promise. I want to always make the search for Your Kingdom a priority knowing that, if I do, good will follow me wherever I go.
Sometimes I question why things happen the way they do. In my heart, I know that, if I trust and believe in You, I will walk in unwavering peace. Search my heart and purify my motives so I can make good decisions. Your ways are sometimes hard to understand but, because I trust in Your goodness and mercy, I follow wherever You lead. I know that, each time I take a step of faith, You will guide me to the place where I belong. I have come to understand that the Scriptures are filled with your goodness and wisdom and they are useful for my instruction, correction and training in righteous living. My hope is that Your words will cleanse my mind, motivate me to act uprightly, and provide answers for my dilemmas and the problems I face. The faith I need to succeed comes through praying and seeking Your will. Therefore, I know I can tackle any unknown that I face. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
