My Glorious Lord, You are my Savior and Protector. When I call out to You, You respond. As negative emotions and destructive thoughts descend upon me, I feel like I’m going to go under … but, You come quickly to rescue me. When I am tempted, You deliver me from my struggles. Death lingers around and distress follows me wherever I go, but You are my helper and You stand in the gap for me. I tremble when fear approaches because its mission is to make me feel my problems are bigger than I can handle … but, You have a solution for each one I face. Sometimes my way forward becomes clouded, but You cast out the darkness with Your light and show me the way to go. When dark clouds appear on the horizon, I am not concerned because I know You will help me weather the storm. I do not fret because You surrounded me with angels who protect me from harm. How can I ever thank You enough?
I am blessed to be alive and share each day with You. The gift of Your tender mercy is even more wonderful than I could have ever imagined. Having family and friends to share my joys and sorrows with is very comforting. When I am joyful, I do not worry about losing the feeling because Your supply is limitless. If I experience pain and loss, Your peace and grace help me through it. When I have self-doubts, You reassure me that I am special and you have a mission for my life. If I lack anything, You meet my needs. I constantly feel Your presence and know that You watch over me. I never cease to be amazed at how You can turn my sure defeats into victories. In all things, You’ve shown me unfailing kindness and showered me with blessings. I appreciate the many wondrous things and small miracles that You do for me. How can I ever thank You enough?
I rejoice in belonging to You and I gladly praise Your name. I proudly share how you have fulfilled Your promises to me and made my life better. I want other to understand what they are missing when You are not a part of their lives. I want them to know about Your desire to save them, share the bounties of Heaven and help release them from the shackles that bind them. With cracks forming throughout their lives, I want them to see that by building their lives on You, they will be able to withstand whatever they face. I want their hunger for justice and their thirst for hope to be satisfied in You. My hope is that Your people will learn to stop trying to fix their lives alone, but find their fix through You. My whole being cries out to give You thanks for who You are and Your loving care and affection. How can I ever than You enough? And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
