In What Should I Boast?

Most Precious Lamb of God, my life is filled with many good things of which I can boast.  You meet, and continually supply, all of my needs … even before I ask.  You have made all of my goals attainable through Your promise that all things are possible when I seek them in Your strength.  In all of my struggles You have made me more than a conqueror and You’ve built a hedge to insure that my tests are not greater than I can withstand.  Since my good outcomes are achieved in Your power, I am the beneficiary of safety, peace, an inheritance and Your loving care.  Belonging to You has brought me many benefits, none more important than my Salvation.  Through Your blood I have been redeemed, bought with a price, so that I might walk in freedom.  So long as I abide in You and Your words abide in me, I will know Your will and ask for only the things You want for my life.

Each time I pray, I must do so believing that You are good and attentive to my pleadings.  Then, and only then, do I know that my request will be honored.  If I ask anything in Your name, I’m assured that Your Heavenly Father will respond to my requests.  I am overwhelmed by the abundance of so many good things that You share with me … prosperity, good health, guidance, favor with You and my fellow man, abundance in all aspects of my life and so many more.  Even in the spiritual realm I am blessed with overcoming power, a suit of armor to defend myself against spiritual wickedness, Your Word and the Holy Spirit to teach and guide me among others.  If I keep Your commandments and walk in Your ways, I will remain in good standing with You and all things will be made possible for me.  You created the world for my pleasure and gave me a free will to choose You over other gods.  Praise be Your name forever.

I rejoice in the fact that, by accepting You as My Lord, I am a new creation.  All the trappings of the world, the lusts of my flesh and the enticements of the Devil fall away as I subject myself to You alone.  My old ways and old thought patterns that controlled my life have been placed into subjection to You and Your will.  As a result of becoming a part of Your church and filling my mind with Your Word, I am being transformed daily into Your likeness.  Through my belief in You, the things I once thought were impossible have now been made possible.  You have caused mercy and grace to abound toward me … freeing me from condemnation and allowing me to walk in Your marvelous light.  Sin and darkness no longer have a hold on me.  These are the many reasons I find it so hard to choose which one of Your blessings I should boast … so I boast of them all.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!
