O Glorious Father … Obedient Savior … and, Wise Counselor, I bow down in humble submission to Your awesome power, abundant mercy and unconditional love. How easy it is to give You praise for being the refuge of my life and a defense against my enemies. You have redeemed me from eternal death and the Pits of Hell. You have delivered me from the clutches of evil and established me on solid ground. You have rescued me from those who laid in wait to bring about my downfall. You have saved me from danger and poor choices. You have protected me from the lies of those who would betray my friendship and the arrows of those whose gossip is intended to hurt me. When I’ve become ill and was sure it would be for the worst, I looked for hope and someone to sustain me … and, You were there. When faced with problems, I turned every way for a solution and there seemed no escape … then I remembered Your kindness and sought refuge in Your arms. When I have needs, I know I can call out to You and You will come to my aid.
Do not abandon me in my times of trouble or in the midst of my storms. In those times, I will pray to You in the hope You will hear my cries and respond to my calling. Preserve me when life’s struggles become too much and my strength fails me. In my walk with You, I will seek Your wisdom and make it my constant companion. It is Your guidance and timing that keeps my life in balance … with a level head. When I take heed to Your instructions, I profit from what You are trying to teach me and I’m able to advance my life. I am resolutely devoted to You and I will strive with all my strength to do what You ask of me. As I hear Your words speaking to my heart and I will walk in Your truth and not return to the ways of the world and my flesh. I welcome Your presence in my life and the revelations You make known to me because they open the gates to prosperity and good fortune.
Through Your involvement in my life, I have seen You purge and purify my walk. I have gained an understanding of Your expectations and I plan to carry them out. You stir me from within to be a doer of Your Word and not just a listener … to seek first Your Kingdom and become active in it … and, to overcome evil with good. Help me always be grateful for the many things you do for me in just the right measure and at just the right time. Take up residence in my heart so that I am not deprived of Your purity, wisdom and loving kindness. Help me submit to Your yoke (which is sweet) and take up Your burden (which is light). I know that You draw closer to those who seek You and love those who labor for You. My heart rejoices in Your mercy and I am confident that the timing of Your supply will always be perfect. Continue Your work in my life and in Your time, I will mature and fulfill the call You’ve made on my life. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
