How blessed and secure I feel, O Lord. For I take refuge in the shadow of Your wings and I count on You being bigger than anything I face. I know that nothing happens by chance and You are in control of all things. Whatever happens to challenge or move my life forward is part of Your plan and, no matter what I may go through, I know I can count on You to keep me on track. Each time I begin to panic, I turn to You as my source of strength. I trust that when You hear my heart-felt prayers You will be moved by love to respond. Each time I try to fathom the depth of Your love, I come to the conclusion it is far greater than what I can ever imagine. After all, You gave the life of Your Son for mine … You tolerate my repeated sins and offer Your help in escaping their power … and, You want more for me than I want to put forth effort to achieve. I believe with all my heart that no matter what happens in my life … You will lift me from the mire and out me on high ground.
I rejoice because You are always standing in wait to comfort and console me. I know that You want good to fill my life and, while I must encounter trials throughout it, the struggles I face are not meant to crush me but help me grow. I am confident that whenever I have a need … You will be there with Your love and compassion to minister to it. As love for You grows in my heart, I know I will be able to draw strength for overcome any obstacle I face. I am thankful that You are not a stingy God, but one who shares everything You have with those that love You. With You by my side, no matter how bad my storms might rage, I will not be fearful and I will get my courage from You. In the middle of whatever conflict I find myself, I know I can count on Your peace to sustain me and Your power to get me through my toughest ordeal. As I weather the trials of life, my trust in You and my faith keeps growing. As long as You stand with me, nothing that I go through is in vain.
Most Loving Master, You are the most stabile thing in my life. When the ground beneath my feet begins to tremble, I know You will be my strong foundation. As I fall on my knees each day, hear my pleas asking for Your guidance and beseeching You to lead me in paths of plenty and rest. Endue me with the faith to believe that all things are possible through my belief in You. Help me learn to trust Your leadership and follow You wherever You lead. Life is full of decisions … show me how to make good choices and walk uprightly. I want to surrender all to You because I know that You love me and will always be there for me. Through trials, triumphs and life’s ups and downs, I need You to take my hand and guide me. Your power has no bounds and I rely on You to steady me when I become shaky. Lift me higher, no matter what life brings, and guide me and teach me the wonders of belonging to You. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
