Living in God’s Abundance

O Precious Redeemer, I rejoice in the abundance that You provide for me.  In return for committing myself to You and trusting in Your Word, my life has been filled with good fortune and many blessings.  For You do not limit, nor do You skimp, nor are there shortages in the good things You want to share with me.  I am overjoyed by the fact that You are a God of forgiveness, mercy, kindness and loving compassion.  You flood my life with a perpetual stream of refreshing from the rivers of living water that flow from within me.  You’re a constant and consistence source of grace that eases my struggles.  In You resides a love that endures … a hope that never fades … a healing power that constantly restores … and, a joy that replenishes my strength.  Though my eyes have not seen … nor my ears heard … nor my mind fathomed all that You have to share with me … I know that I am Your child and You have given me an inheritance from which my life will be blessed and enriched.

I am thankful that You are a God who is slow to anger … abounding in love … and always willing to forgive.  When I stumble or lose my way, You are gracious to forgive me after I have expressed sorrow for my sins.  In Your mighty and exalted power, You manifest a heart that is tender and just in dealing with me.  You are faithful to me when I’ve not been faithful to You.  Yet I know that I can always put my hope in Your unfailing love and trust that Your redemptive power is greater than any sin I commit.  I know that in Your devotion to me, You will help me through the calamities that fill my life.  I feel Your presence with me each day and I bask in Your favor which You liberally dispense to me as I go about my daily routine.  Out of my most difficult struggles has come an overflowing joy and peace that brings rest to my weary soul.

I am so thankful that You came so that I could have life and experience it more abundantly.  I am blessed with ample provision so that I am able to help others who are in need.  I have feasted in the abundance of Your table and I’ve been showered with many good things.  Now, because I know You are able to do immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine, I am confident in Your ability and desire to meet my every need.  As Your Spirit comes to dwell in my heart, I have been able to see the hope that is contained in Your promises.  As I humble myself, I open a door of prosperity and good fortune.  As I forsake my evil ways and turn my heart to You, I am assured that You will cause me to live in abundance.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!

John 10:10 The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.
