O Precious Redeemer, I search for You day and night because the meaning and purpose I seek can only come from You. I need to know that You are near in good times and bad … in joy and sadness … and, when things are going right or I’m in a mess. I know that Your love continually encourages me to come to You just as I am. As I search for You, my life is given a whole array of new perspectives. Whenever I focus on negative things or the pain that comes from failure, it is You who reminds me that only when I put my faith in You is the impossible made possible. Your goal is to show me a future restored and renewed through Your grace and love. I know that You are my way to peace, rest and contentment. My search for a meaningful relationship is leading me to a deeper trust of You and confidence in my future. Through Your involvement in my life, I can envision new opportunities to grow and mature.
In seeking You, I am able to see Your grace and protection encompassing my life. As time passes, I am growing more and more able to see things through Your eyes … trust and security, hope and deliverance, joy and contentment … as potential tools in my struggles for a happier life. Learning to put my trust in You is helping my faith to grow. I know as I draw closer to You that goodness and mercy will become an everyday part of my life. As I reach out to You with my heart and mind, I’m finding that Your Word has the answers I need for a prosperous and joy-filled life. In my prayer time, I try reaching out to You through thanksgiving for all of the things You’ve done and keep doing for me. I know that when I come to You as I am … You will receive me and extend me a helping hand. Life’s lessons have taught me that, if You stand with me, then no power on this earth can stand against me.
I sometimes get caught up in negative thinking and clinging to disappointments of the past. When I surrender them to You, the past fades away and a new hope for my future replaces it. As I seek more of You, my confidence and faith grow to meet the challenges I must face. In Your hands, even my most difficult problems disappear and I am able to move on. Deliverance, hope and security have become potent forces in my life enabling me to accomplish things I once thought were impossible. When the winds of adversity come to sweep away my joy and leave me feeling empty, Your love lifts me above the struggle and turmoil. Out of my sorrow, comes Your consolation … out of my brokenness, comes the pieces put back together … and, out of my tears, comes a reason to laugh. Help me in my search for closeness with You so that happiness can become a reality. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
