O Blessed Redeemer and Keeper of my soul, my heart rejoices in the liberty You won for me through Your personal sacrifice. You have delivered me from the hands of Satan and brought me into Your Kingdom. You have liberated me from the power of sin and empowered me to do good. As a result, my life is filled with blessings and Your favor. You have set me free from errors in judgment and given me a sound mind for judging rightly. I’ve been rescued from my earthly weaknesses and been strengthened by the joy of serving You. I’ve been released from the bondage of poverty and sickness so that I can walk in prosperity and good health. You have helped me shake free from self-service and self-gratification in order to make a way for me to love unconditionally and think of others before myself. How blessed I am to have shed my old ways that lead to death and have assumed the new ways that lead to life.
Praise to You, O God of Light, who has called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. As I follow in Your footsteps, I will no longer walk among the shadows not knowing where I am going. As I receive Your new life, I am flooded with an illumination that expands my understanding of Your will and Your ways. Your commands are my teaching lamps … providing me with insights on how to escape my sinful ways. For You have warned me against calling evil good and substituting darkness for light. My desire is to cast off the works of darkness and put on Your armor of light. No longer will I slumber in ignorance … instead, seeking Your teachings and guidance. As You share with me the things of Your heart, I will grow in wisdom and stay on the path You intended for me. I can find the fruit of Your light in all that is good, right and just.
I am grateful, O Lord, that I no longer live under the world’s view of what is right and wrong. Instead, I’m being brought to a new place where all things are possible and my mistakes can be turned into something good. Your delivering power has brought many things within my grasp and the thought of it fills me with joy. Through Your loving acts, You have transformed me into a light for the world … no longer hidden by darkness and ignorance and able to shine before men. You have taken away my shame … and, You have given me a purpose for my life. You are my Everlasting Deliverer and Guiding Light, showing me the way of redemption and the way to peace and contentment. Your very life flows through me carrying away all of my impurities and causing the fire of life to burn brightly in me. As I have walked in Your light, You have redeemed me from my past and I have been changed forever. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
