Praise to You, All Mighty God, the One in whom I place my trust. You who hears my prayers, to You I gladly submit myself. For when I am overwhelmed by sin, You offer me love and forgiveness. Blessed am I who has been chosen to sit at Your banqueting table forever. I am perpetually blessed with good things from Your store house. You have heard my cries and responded with awesome deeds. You are my Savior, the hope of my heart … the One who possess the power to create the stars and calm the sea … the One whose peace delivers me from the turmoil in my life … and, the One whose joy brings me strength from within when fear camps outside my door. You care for me and enrich my life with Your abundance.
As a result, I will call upon You as My Defender. I will sing praise and give glory to Your name … for mighty are Your works on my behalf. I bow down to You and submit to Your will. I have read about the mighty acts You performed which were done to preserve Your servants. You rule with great power and Your eyes are fixed on Your people so that no harm comes upon them. You are the One who sustains my life and prevents me from slipping into an abyss. You test and validate my heart and Your goal is to refine me like pure silver. You have delivered me from bondage and removed the burdens from off my back. When I have gone through storms in my life, You have brought me back home safely. When You ascended on high … You lead captives free … You gave gifts to men … and You left us Your Holy Spirit to teach, guide and comfort us. All praise be Yours, All Powerful King, who bears my daily burdens and has allowed me to escape eternal death.
Summons Your power, O Mighty One, and show me Your great strength. Arise and make my foes flee and my enemies be scattered. Humble me so that, in all things, I will bow down and willingly present myself as a living sacrifices to You. Be gracious to me, bless me and let Your countenance shine on me. Then I will be glad and rejoice because I will be filled with joy and be completely satisfied. May Your name and Your Word be proclaimed forever. May Your wings always cover and shelter me from harm. When I am destitute and needy, I will look to You for my help and deliverance. You are My Rock and My Refuge … my strong defense in times of trouble. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
Psalm 31:2 Turn Your ears to me, come quickly to my rescue, be my Rock of Refuge, a Strong Fortress to save me.
