Hasten, O Gracious King, to rescue me. Come quickly to my aid. In You I take refuge because You are My Rock and My Fortress. Since I am Your child, I know I can count on Your help in my times of need. As far back as I can remember, I have relied on You. You are my source of hope and confidence. I am special because You chose me to be Your very own and called me by name. I will forever praise You because You are my Protector and Sure Foundation. Because of Your loving kindness, my mouth will forever be filled with Your praise and I will declare Your graciousness to all peoples.
Do not give up on me, My King, when I lose my way. Do not forsake me when I cannot seem to get things right. Help me not listen to my enemy when he says “God has forsaken You.” Be not far from me so that I do not fall. Come quickly when I call out, for I am weak and stumble easily. When everything seems to go against me, I pledge to keep my resolve and hope in You. For Your Word has taught me much about the abundance of Your loving kindness, steadfast loyalty and compassionate justice. Therefore, I will declare Your greatness to my children and my children’s children. Your heart is as big as the sky and Your understanding is broader than the horizon. You’ve shown me the vastness of Your love and power. Who can flee from Your justice and might? Even though I have been through many, bitter troubles, You have restored all that I have lost and more. From the depths of my heartache and sorrow, You have brought forth new life … and, filled it with goodness and plenty. You have increased my faith and honored me when You pour out Your mercy and kindness to me. You are the lifter of my head … the one who takes away my shame and confusion.
I have every confidence that You will judge me fairly and will give me relief when I am afflicted. When I thirst, You will refresh me … when I hunger, You will give me strength. I know that I can never be too far from You that You cannot reach out to save me. I know that You will endure forever and will make a place for me with You in eternity. For this I am most grateful. You have shown me mercy in my weakness and offered supply in my times of need. You’ve been a source of encouragement and strength when I am down. I know that in all things You want me to flourish and find prosperity. Long may You live, My King!! May Your name be called “Blessed” throughout the earth!! All praise and honor be Yours, O Gracious King!! And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
