I exalt You, My Lord, because You are my God and there is none like You. You have opened my eyes to comprehend who You are and see all of the things You’ve done for me. As I have reached out to You, I have come to understand and appreciate the beauty of Your character and goodness. Because of the love You’ve shown to me, I will never be the same. You have filled my life with blessings and joy for which I can never give You enough praise. Because of Your holiness, I know that every knee will bow in homage to You and every tongue will confess that You are Lord. Your reign is one of both power and compassion and that’s why I’ve chosen to give You my life . My heart yearns for You to teach me how to serve You better and walk in Your ways. Because of all that You’ve done for me, I want to live out my life giving thanks for all of them.
My Suffering Savior, on Your Cross on Calvary, You took my shame and exchanged it for new life. You melted my life into Yours and now we live in unity. You willingly laid down Your life in obedience to Your Father so that the veil that separated us could be removed. You came as an expression of how cherished I am and, in return, I freely give You my homage and devotion. I am now a free man, whose sins are forgiven and my life now reflects my special calling. My whole being yearns for the love that only You can give. As a sign of my devotion to You, I put my life at Your feet and give to You my heart. When I think of the pain and suffering that my sins have caused You, I weep. However, my sorrow does not diminish the appreciation I feel for the redemption You earned for me so that I did not reap the eternal fires of Hell. Continue to show me the way into Your heart, so that I can emulate it.
I extol Your name, O Precious One, because You’ve set me free to serve You and allowed me to soar to greater heights in my adoration of You. I am confident that You can fix the broken pieces of my life. Through Your unending love, You have changed me and broken down the walls that separated us. Through Your love, I am experiencing the warmth of Your marvelous light. I now can give You praise and glory with a renewed heart, a restored soul and true purpose to my life. In surrendering to You … You’ve become my hiding place … You are both a Friend and King … because You walk with me, I do not fear … and, because You have given me access to Your Wisdom, I do not worry. Rain down on me the fire of the Holy Spirit so that I will be emboldened and energized to share Your Good News. I give You praise because I know I am Yours forever. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
