I praise You, O Lord, with all of my heart. Great are Your works and, as I contemplate them, I am filled with awe and delight. For glorious and majestic are Your deeds and I see Your goodness in them all. Your words and wonders are special and I reflect on them regularly. They form the foundation of my hope and, if I truly believe them, they will become the source that supplies my needs. You are faithful in remembering Your promises to me and honoring them. You have shown me the power that can be added to my life when I seek You with all earnestness. You have showered me with so many blessings that I cannot count them all. You are always faithful and just in dealing with me and for that I am eternally grateful.
I receive much confidence from the fact that Your precepts and Your promises are trustworthy. You and Your Word have been steadfast walls of protection since the beginning of time. Everything You do is righteous and holy. You have redeemed me and covered me with Your love at all times. Holy and Awesome are Your names. The respect I have for You has opened doors to learning Your will and Your ways. You have allowed me to understand and follow Your precepts so that I might be “Holy as You are Holy.” You have held back nothing that would help me overcome evil and be more like You. I truly feel like Your child and I want to make You proud of me.
I am blessed to be a part of Your family and I know I have a place in Your kingdom. “I am a King’s kid” who takes delight in following Your commands. I know that as I grow in You, You will give me an inheritance that I will be able to pass down to my children and grandchildren. I am blessed to be endued with the power to overcome evil and do good. You have filled my life with physical and spiritual gifts too numerous to count. Because my heart is Yours, You reside in me. When darkness comes upon me, I do not fear. For I know that Your awesome might and loving compassion will cover me. Good fortune will come to me because I have learned to be generous and fair in all my dealings with others. I will never be shaken because if You stand with me, who can stand against me. Bad news and trouble may surround me, but I will not fret because I steadfastly trust in You. Even when I cannot see it, I know victory is just around the corner. I know that evil will come to nothing because I have the advantage of belonging to You and I am able to conquer all things. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
