The Words of Life

There is none like You, O Lord.  There is no foundation more solid upon which I can build my life than You.  Nor is there any force that can penetrate the walls of protection that You have placed around me.  There is no one more dependable than You … which is why I give no reason to abandon my relationship with You.  The strength that I possess comes from You … and in matters of strength … You are the Almighty.  As I draw my strength from You, I know that it will help me be victorious in all that I do.  I can count on Your providing me with the strength and purpose I need to fulfill the calling You’ve placed on my life.  As a result of Your meeting all of my needs, I believe that You will sustain me through whatever comes my way and You will never give up on me.  I am especially thankful for Your faithfulness in which You’ve done wondrous things on my behalf and filled my life with many blessings.

You are the Mighty One who formed the mountains, sea and sky by Your power and have redeemed me from the hand of my enemy.  It is through Your power that all things are sustained.  You are an advocate of good for all and resist all evil.  It is You who leads me through my struggles and gets me across the finish line during my hard times.  You are righteous in all of Your ways and Your desire is that my life will be filled with love and hope.  You have become my perpetual fortress and refuge in times of need.  You are teaching me how to walk by faith and stand in Your might.  You have dominion over all things and the life of every living thing rests in Your hands.  Because of belonging to You, I am on top of my problems instead of them piling on top of me.  You want me to love You with all of my heart, all of my soul and all of my strength.  I am committed to giving You what You want.

You have assured me that Your grace is sufficient for anything I will face.  You’ve promised that I am made perfect in weakness.  Therefore, I will rejoice in my weaknesses knowing that I am being perfected into the person You want me to become.  You encourage me to persevere by saying You’ve placed in front of me open doors and I should not to be afraid to pass through them.  As a result, I trust that You will be there to help me face any force that wants to do me harm.  As I learn how to obey You and walk in Your ways, I am becoming convinced that You will keep me from facing anything over which I cannot prevail.  You have instructed me to hold fast to the things You have given me so that they cannot be stolen from me.  Whenever I am tempted to stray from Your side, I will reflect on the words of Peter who said to whom shall we turn?  You have the words of life.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!

John 6:68 Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go?  You have the words of eternal life.”
