O God of Love, take my heart and shape it into Yours so that I can love unconditionally. Take my mind and fill it with Your wisdom and understanding so that I can make good decisions and choices. Take my thoughts and align them with Yours so that we can become one. Take my sorrows and disappointments and turn them into joy so that I can encourage and uplift my hurting brothers and sisters. Take my darkness and fill it with Your light so that I can see my path forward more clearly. Take my hopes and dreams and make them real so that I can live a life of abundance and overcoming. I surrender to You all that I have and hold dear so that You can replace them with things that are truly meaningful … peace, fulfillment, humility, love, a feeling of belonging, personal worth and safety. All I ever need to be content are Your love, mercy and grace.
I am forever blessed by our relationship. Because of it, I know You see every move I make and understand the things that affect me. You know my thoughts and feelings and possess the ability to reach down deep inside of me and pull out my best. You are familiar with all of my ways and know what I am going to speak before I open my mouth. You encircle me with a hedge of protection and provide me with the rest I need to overcome my struggles. Your knowledge and wisdom are far beyond mine, but You are willing to share them with me if I will only make the time to read Your Word and meditate on Your sayings. I cannot hide from You because there is no place I can go where You cannot follow me. As I go through life, I’m learning to trust that Your hand will be there to guide me when I let You. You formed me and gave me a mission … help me fulfill it as You planned.
How precious You are to me and I marvel at the many blessings you shower upon me. I hate to see those who mock You and turn their back on Your pleas to them. After all, You’ve given up so much to provide all people with a pathway to an eternity spent with You. I weep for those who will not give You a chance to become a part of their life … to redeem it from the Hell they live on earth and the Hell they will surely face when they die. You know my heart, O Lord, and the things that concern me. Give me Your peace and lead me away from the traps that would damage my soul and lead me away from You. I know that there is no weapon formed against me that can prevail … no impossibility that can’t be overcome … and, no test to face that I cannot pass. There are many things which You provide to assure me of happiness and I am content with them all. And it’s in Jesus name I pray. AMEN!!
