I rejoice in the fact that You have an endless list of things to share with me, My Lord. Some of the things You’ve shared with me are intriguing and require contemplation. Those that I’ve taken to heart include:
- All things are possible through Christ … even the impossible ones.
- Make a joyful noise unto the Lord … so He can hear the melody of your heart.
- Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen … therefore, faith enables my spiritual eyes to “see” things that my natural eyes cannot “see”.
- I reap what I sow … so it is important to sow good seed.
- Your yoke is sweet and Your burden is light … why am I still carrying my heavy burden instead of Yours?
- All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes … this tells me I need to become a diligent follower!!
- You ask me take up my cross and follow You … before I can do that, I must give my life to You.
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me … so I have no excuses for my failures.
- The joy of the Lord is my strength … which means I can carry any load that You ask me to carry.
- When I am down, it is a sure sign that God is working behind the scenes.
- While I am thankful for the things I have … I should be equally thankful for the things I do not have.
- Faith allows me to see the invisible … believe the incredible … and receive the impossible.
I am grateful for the things that You share with me from Your heart. Help me find the time each day to spend at Your feet listening to what you have to say and contemplating its meaning for my life. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
