All Powerful God, who among men dare to look upon all the things You’ve created and not recognize that it is Your hand that has done it all. Only fools who have allowed themselves to be blinded to Your truth and say “it’s by chance that all of this happened.” To me it is obvious to see Your hands at work in every creature and every substance in the earth and beyond. It is with ears that hear and a mind that is open to Your truth that have allowed me to enjoy my relationship with You. All wisdom resides with You and Your desire is to share it with me as we spend time together. To You belongs all praise and power and counsel and understanding. You can build what no man can tear down. What You have set free, no force on earth can enslave it again. You control all things … life and death … rain and drought … winds and storms. Time has no meaning to You … only what I do with it.
To You belongs all praise, honor and glory. You give wisdom to those who inquire and those who remain silent are blown about by every wind and doctrine. You take the shackles off of those who choose You as their Lord and leave those who reject You to the enemy. You stand with the just and cast down the unrighteous. You silence fools and give eloquence to those who You trust. You give strength to the weak and disarm those who use their power for personal gain. You bring the darkness into the light and make darkness disappear. You lead the willing to high places and leave the laggards to their own demise. Those who cling to evil are brought down while the righteous You exalt. You build up while others try to tear down. You make nations that are moral, show character, act humbly and give liberally a place of greatness.
You are an awesome and majestic King who rules His Kingdom with love, wisdom, justice and might. You deprive the evil ones of their reasoning and send them forth grasping for something … anything … to cling to. They mumble and stumble like a drunkard. I have seen all these things with my very own eyes and know them to be true. I also know that Your love and presence in my life, gives it meaning. And, without You, I’d be wandering around in darkness groping for something solid to hold on to. Your love fills me with peace, meaning and hope. When the world stands against me, I know that I have an advocate who will never leave my side. If I stray from You, as My Good Shepherd, You will come to find me and drive away any who try to do me harm. This I’ve learned … You are my faithful, loving and compassionate Lord … and, I will cling to You forever. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
Colossians 3:10 … since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of our Creator.
