Most Gracious and Merciful Lord, how blessed I am to know that You are my partner in life … wanting to be involved in my successes and helping me resolve my problems. As a result, I’m turning over my sorrows and suffering to Your compassion to help me overcome them both. I’m turning over my sickness and pain to the healing that only You can provide. I’m turning over my disappointments and heartaches to Your uplifting words and encouragement that energizes my broken spirit. I’m turning over my burdens and struggles to Your awesome power that can change my outcomes and put me on top of the world. I constantly find myself being pressured on all sides but, because of Your presence in my life, I never feel crushed, hopeless or abandoned. I’ve been knocked down but never defeated. I am blessed beyond belief because Your promises uphold me and help me endure. Knowing that You are faithful in all Your ways brings joy to my heart and strengthens my for my journey and the battles ahead.
I have encountered my share of struggles and heartache in life, but I’ve come through them all. As a result, I’m turning over my worries and fear to Your power of deliverance from evil and darkness. I’m turning over my weakness and hopelessness to Your strength and endurance which will help me persevere and overcome. I’m turning over my problems and confusion to Your Wisdom which knows all things and will surely come up with solutions. I’m turning over my frustrations and emptiness to Your hope and peace which add meaning and purpose to my life. Though my anguish may last for a time, I know You have made a way for me escape its torment and find contentment. I believe that an infusion of Your power and strength, at just the right time, will empower me to remove the barriers standing in my way. Only You have the power to transform the problems I have into a manageable size so I can deal with them.
For too long I have believed that I was to bear the burdens of my life alone … not seeking help to keep me on the right path or from drowning in a sea of adversity. But in You, I’ve found that all things are possible … even my impossibility. My hope for deliverance from evil rests in You because You do not faint … nor do You grow weary. You come to my defense when I am weak. You calm my emotional outbursts when my life seemingly unravels. When I am down and in the dumps, You lift me up on eagle’s wings. My life experiences have taught me that You are good and Your mercy endures forever. You are a God for every nation, tongue, race and generation. Your love is as vast and deep as any ocean. Your Wisdom rises up to the stars and descends into the depths of the earth. Nothing can be hidden from You … nor can anything confound You. That is why in dealing with everything myself I have determined that it is far better to turn everything over to You. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
