All Things Are Possible

O Merciful One, You are the God of miracles who can make a way where there is none.  Through Your mighty power, You make the things that are impossible become possible.  I am thankful that my faith in You enables me to see things through Your eyes … things that cannot be seen through natural eyes.  This unique ability to peer beyond the natural allows me to see the possibilities of Your promises … seeing them done before they actually occur.  Faith empowers me to accomplish things I thought were impossible.  Your love and commitment to me motivates me to strive for things I once thought were beyond my reach.  Through believing in You, dead wombs came alive … victories against long odds were achieved … the dead were brought back to life … sight was restored to the blind … lepers were healed.  These are things that are impossible for those who lack faith, but miracles await those who dare to believe.

I know that through doubt and unbelief, I limit Your ability to do the impossible in my life.  Even in Your hometown, You could do no miracles because Your family and neighbors would not believe.  Help my unbelief so that Your power manifests itself in my times of need.  I want to break the chains that keep me from drawing closer to You and limit my ability to see what is possible through faith in You.  I am limited by my weak flesh and my failures to renew my thinking through diligent reading and meditating on Your Word.  I know that circumstances can and will be changed if I surrender everything to You and allow You to be involved in the decisions affecting my life.  Help me unlock the gate of my heart and allow You to transform me from a man of the impossible to one who believes all things are possible through You.

I have come to understand that without faith I cannot please You … and, without faith, I cannot believe without seeing.  It is hard to walk by faith and not by sight, but I know You can teach me how to do it.  I also need Your help in opening my spiritual eyes so I can see things that are not as they seem.  As I follow You … take steps to anchor my life in Your promises … and, trust You in all things … my future will be filled with hope.  By doing these things, the scales that cover my eyes and hinder my faith will be removed.  Give me the faith of the Centurion who did not question Your power or Your will to heal his servant … nor did he expect any special sign … but said “Lord, I do not deserve to have You come under my roof.  Just say the word and my servant will be healed.”  All the Centurion could see was the possibility of You working on his behalf.  Help me believe that all things are possible for me too when I pray.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!

Mark 9:23 Everything is possible for him who believes.
