O Mighty God, when I face times of frustration, anxiety and heartache, my consolation is knowing that You are standing with me. When my dreams have been shattered and my prayers seem in vain, I know that You are patiently persevering with me. When my hope is fading and my spirit is sagging, it is Your joy that gives me the strength to move on. When waiting for the clouds to clear and morning to come, it is the light of Your love that shows me the way to go. I’ve come to understand that there is always hope for tomorrow because You have everything under control, and You do not forsake Your own. So why do I despair? You catch every teardrop, and You listen to my prayers. When life seems bleakest, I need only look to You to see my way to a brighter tomorrow. When I feel neglected or lacking, I should stop to count my blessing to see how much You’ve given to me.
When I travel down the road of life alone and dark clouds of confusion cloud my view, I must not panic and become fearful … because You are my rock who steadies me. When I feel there is no one to share my load or give me a hand, help me remember that You are faithful and have offered to help carry my load. If things go wrong and I feel desperate, I believe that, if I humble myself and get on my knees to pray, You will guide me and assure me that all will go well. As I cling to You, listening closely to your encouraging words, I know I will be strengthened and prepared for whatever may come my way. In You, I no longer feel inadequate because I am complete in You. As I go through life with its struggles, pains and heartaches, I will not forget how Your blessings, mercy and grace have empowered me. How precious is Your love and the feeling of safety I get from being surrounded by Your hedge?
I cannot find words that are sufficient to describe how loved I feel because of Your continual kindness and care. As an act of my will, I freely acknowledge You and bow down to You as my Savior. I am so appreciative for each day of life which You give me that is filled with faith, hope and love. Because of my trust in You, I find myself reaching out to touch the hem of Your garment to find healing for the things that have gone amiss in my life. I rejoice in the fact that Your hand is extended to assure and guide me … today and tomorrow. If I do not hold back, I know You will be waiting for me tomorrow to help me manage it. Thank You for the beauty I find in each new day and help me not be afraid of what awaits me when I awake tomorrow. For with You in my life, guiding and helping me, I have reason to hope for tomorrow. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
