May the Lord…

O Glorious Savior, I am so glad that You are a rewarder of those who diligently see You … of which, I am one.  Your heart is inclined to bless me because I have surrendered to You and strive to walk in Your ways.  Because I have made the choice to follow You, I know that blessings and prosperity will be my inheritance.  Peace will forever be my companion so I do not give up or lose my way.  I ask that You fill my life with love, service, honesty and faith so that when others see my life they will see You.  By opening myself to Your Word, I know that light will come into my life so I can make good choices and do what is right.  I sometimes face adversity and trying circumstances, but I am confident that they will not destroy me.  Through Your mercy and grace, I trust that I can come through these tough times.

Because of my trust in Your faithfulness and the confidence I have in Your love, I can say …

May the Lord protect me from all harm.

May the Lord show me mercy for my sins and omissions.

May the Lord shower me with His grace … even though I do not deserve it.

May the Lord heal me and make me whole.

May the Lord prosper me … so I can share it with others.

May the Lord comfort me in my times of sorrow and distress.

May the Lord strengthen me and give me hope when all seems lost.

May the Lord lift my spirit when I am discouraged and life has beaten me down.

May the Lord guide me so that I always walk in His ways.

As Your child, I find it easy to believe that You are a God who is fair, generous, loving and kind.  It is because of Your deep, unconditional love and commitment to my well-being that I continue to follow You.  I have come to understand that unless You build my house … the labors to build it are in vain.  And, unless You watch over it, the watchman who stands guard over it in vain.  I believe that You want to be my comforter, redeemer, protector, teacher and source of every good thing in my life.  Therefore, I have no hesitation in saying “May the Lord …” and it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!

Isaiah 30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show His compassions.  For the Lord is a God of justice.  Blessed are all who wait on Him!
