My Glorious King and Ruler, You have made me feel safe and valued through Your selfless act of kindness when You suffered and died to save me from my sins. Because I now find favor in Your sight, I know You will answer whenever I call out to You. I am now safe because You have covered me with mercy and grace to shelter me from harm and the deceptions of my enemies. I rejoice that You have called me out of darkness and declared “Be free.” No matter where my life leads me, I know You will be with me meeting all of my needs. I am confident that Your compassion and kindness will guide me through the fog of confusion that sometimes permeates my life and will rescue me in my times of affliction. It is in Your comfort that binds my wounds so I can be healed. Like a mother’s newborn child, I am sure that You will never leave or forsake me however long I live.
I am reassured of my place in Your heart because you said, “I have engraved your name into the palm of my hand (Isa 49:16).” As a result, when my prospects become bleak and troubles fill my life, I know I can count on You to be there to lift me up and renew my strength. The bad choices which seem to come so easily are being replaced with those that make a lot more sense. With the wrong people influencing my life, You are helping me weed them out one by one. When my horizon seems the darkest, You bring me Your light so I can more clearly see my way. You have opened the gate of righteousness for me so that I might walk in Your ways. Through Your help, I have been able to replace my weaknesses with Your strength. It is in Your grace that many blessings have been added to my life and in my times of anguish, You have delivered me from all of my troubles.
I have found it better to take refuge in You than to trust in men. When evil threatens to overtake me, it is You who builds a hedge of protection around me. Each time as I am about to fall under the weight of my load, You help me carry it. Through Your example, I have been shown a better way to lead my life. Your ways assure me of the blessing of a victorious life and a seat at Your banqueting table in Heaven. It pleases me to know that You want a close relationship with me, and You want to teach me how to experience a full and complete life. I rejoice in the fact that You are rebuilding the foundations of my life and restoring hope to my soul. Your light breaks forth like the dawn each day showing me the way to go. I can go forth with confidence knowing You will be my rear guard. I feel You restoring my life each day and I am eternally grateful for Your help. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
