Most Precious Lord, I adore You and bless You because You have paid the price to redeem my soul. You are the Resurrection and the Light of the world. My desire is to be more like You. Teach me how to die to myself so that I too might rise again as a witness to Your transforming power in my life. In the same way that You were raised from the dead, may I too be raise from the ashes of disappointments, failures and sin. For You did not create me to be crushed under the weight of circumstances, but for me to experience the joy of overcoming them. Help me place my feet on the solid rock of my faith in You. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit in paths of righteousness. I understand that the journey will not be easy, but You took up Your Cross and I must take up mine. Help me never forget that while the trip is hard, the victory is sweet because it is eternal.
Your Word tells me that You are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Show me the way I am to go to find prosperity for my life … guide me to the things that are true that set me free … and, show me how to be an overcomer in my life. You defeated death and the grave because they could not stop You nor hold You down. Show me the power of Your resurrection that I might more clearly see the way to overcome evil and become a beacon of light to a world filled with darkness. Remind me that through my Baptism I’ve been buried with You and I too can draw strength and direction from Your resurrection. May all of my selfish and misguided ways be washed away by Your blood and may I rejoice in wearing the glorious robe of Your salvation which You purchased for me on Calvary.
I am emboldened by Your desire to share with me Your eternal life. You said it would be by Your Spirit that I would be clothed in Your power. O Holy Spirit, come to me and share Your gifts so that I might triumph over temptation and sin in order to become a force for good. Help me spread the name of My Redeemer wherever I go. Show me how to share His love with the unlovable and lost. Guide me in both word and deed in teaching my family how to walk in Godly ways. Give me the faith to pray believing. Make me bold in defense of Your Word. Stand by me so I do not shrink in the face of adversity, trials and hardships. Each day, assist me in putting on the whole armor of God and become a Warrior of the Cross. I want to experience Your resurrection power in every aspect of my life. Thank You for all of the things You’ve done for me and the high calling You’ve placed on my life. By Your resurrection, You have given me the choice of life or death and I choose life. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
