Dear Lord, I am filled with joy as I experience the power of Your love each day. For Your love is wider than the widest river … deeper than the deepest part of the sea … higher than the highest mountain … and able to touch my heart. When I approach You in prayer, I marvel at how quickly You respond and how tender You are in dealing with my needs. I want You to dwell in me and with me as I walk by faith. Through the Holy Spirit, I have learned to become rooted and ground in Godly Wisdom and I’ve been made to realize the magnitude of Your unconditional love. For even when I was a lost sinner, You came willingly to lay down Your life for mine. By spending time with You and meditating on Your Word, I have been shown the way to escape secular learning and crossover into Your Kingdom where I can experience the fullness of belonging to You. As I learn more about love and how to love, what I am really doing is learning how to be more like You. By walking in the power of Your love I am witnessing it changing my life.
The reason Your love means so much to me is because it is limitless and all encompassing. It allows You to see and impact everything I do. In the depth of Your love, I know You watch over me and catch every tear that I shed. I am confident in Your love and the fact that You know everything about me … even to the extent that You have counted every hair on my head. Fear has been displaced from my life because love displaces fear. You are faithful to me in everything I do … when I am broken-hearted, You draw near … when my spirit is crushed, You revive it with tender care. Contentment fills my life as I am able to remain committed to You and allow You to permeate my whole life. How loving and compassionate You are as You allow Your mercy and grace to engulf me throughout my day.
Because of Your selfless expression of love, I am a new creation of great worth. I am deeply loved, completely forgiven and fully pleasing to You. You formed me and made me unique among men. Through Your love, when I am in pain or experiencing grief, You send me Your peace and mercy as a healing balm. When I am floundering in doubt, You renew my confidence in Your ability to work all things for my good. When I am tired and heavily burdened, You give me understanding, patience and renew my strength. When fear tries to creep into my thoughts, You fill me with courage and the power to resist it. So what in this life can prevail against me? Nothing … for if I stand with You … rely on my gift of faith … live in the power of Your love … nothing will prevail!! I am so blessed to be a treasured part of Your Kingdom and Your love is more precious to me than either gold or silver. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
