O Magnificent and all-Powerful Creator, I bow down in submission to You. I know that You can do all things and no one can block Your plans. Your timing rarely coincide with mine, but Yours is always perfect. There are things I have come to understand but there is nothing too wondrous for You to conceive. When You speak, I must listen because within You resides all knowledge and the solutions I need for my problems. In Your abundant love, You shared life with me and have withheld no good thing from me. In You is the power and creativity that went into forming the world … everything in it, beneath it and above it. You breathed life into Adam and gave him dominion over the Earth. The stars and sky You kept to Yourself … for they are awesome in length, breadth and height … and, only You can control them. When I consider the Earth, the heavens and all the works of Your hands, I realize how small I am and how dependent I am on the Keeper of the Stars to sustain me.
O Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth. When I grow faint, Your mercy and love strengthen me and helps me with my struggles. When I groan or weep over the disappointments and trials I face, You come to comfort and uphold me. With all the demands that are placed on You, I marvel at how You remain attentive to my needs and remain ready to come to my aid. When I am down, You let Your light shine on me and fill my heart with gladness so I do not lose hope. My deficiencies are restored through grace and my needs are met unconditionally. Behind Your mighty shield, I am protected from the forces of darkness. When I cry out to You, You hear my cries and answer from Your throne. When I lie down to sleep, You watch over me … when I awake, You stand with me and keep me from falling … when I do good things, You rejoice with me. From Your faithfulness flows my deliverance and many blessings.
I thank You, O God, for You have assigned me my portion and made my inheritance secure. I thank You for the wise counsel You provide, for it keeps me from falling into a pit. I will keep Your name before me at all times and, because You stand with me, I will not be shaken when adversity and hard times invade my life. Because I feel secure in Your presence, my heart is filled with joy and I praise You with all my heart. You have made known to me the plan for my life and I will do my best to not stray from it. I love you because You are My Strength, My Rock, My Fortress and My Deliverer. When I am in distress, You reach down from Heaven to take my hand and lead me to safety. No robber or thief can take from me the things You have given to me. As a result, I will forever feel secure in the arms of the Keeper of the Stars. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
