Trusting God

All praise and honor is Yours, O Majestic King, because You alone can calm my restless spirit … quiet my anxious heart … and, still my troubled thoughts with the assurance that You have everything under control.  Teach me how to let go of my burdens and let You help me bear them.  I know that You remain at the ready to become involved in anything I choose to share with You.  As I study and become familiar with Your promises to care for me and protect me from harm, I know that my trust level will grow.  My future is as bright as the amount of trust I have in You.  I feel I will have truly matured when I … give up control over every aspect of my life and forsake the fear I will fail … in order to let go and let God.

Trusting You will provide me with the things I will need for good to prevail in my life.  If I step out in faith, contentment will take up residence in my heart, no matter what state I find myself.  One of the important benefits of trust is the peace which comes from the knowledge that You are faithful and trustworthy.  As I learn to trust You more, I will become more confident that You can and will come to my aid whenever I need You.  I experience the highest form of joy when I believe that You will fulfill Your promises to me and I begin to achieve victories in the battles I face.  In trusting You, I see myself becoming an overcomer as the impossible resolution of my problems become possible and begin to melt away like snow under the noonday sun.  Trust causes me to be more devoted to You as I experience the fullness of Your love and see You as the source of every good thing in my life.  Trusting You has caused me to become more steadfast in my beliefs … more rooted and grounded in Your teachings … and, my faith becoming more rooted and grounded in You.

I am thankful for Your promises to sustain me, protect me and give me a place of comfort.  I entrust all that I have to Your care.  Protect my heart and mind through Your peace … let me experience a peace that surpasses my understanding … so it will become the basis of a deeper faith in You.  My desire is that Your will be done in my life … in Your time … and, in Your way (as I surrender more of myself to You).  Trust allows me to let go of my burdens, fears and doubts.  In Your Word, I am encouraged to be anxious of nothing.  That can only happen when I place my complete trust in You.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!
