I glorify Your name, My Lord, for all of the wondrous and awesome things You have done. I meditate on Your words and in them I find much delight, feel the warmth of the light they shine and I am buoyed by their instructions. How glorious and majestic You are, My King, and You are righteous in all of Your ways. Your graciousness and compassion toward me builds up my faith and You fill up the holes in my life. You never forget Your covenants with me and honor them all. Whenever fear and doubt try to creep into my mind or when my whole life is in turmoil … You quiet me and give me rest … You fill me with cheer and renew my hope. May Your reign be forever!!
In the abundance of the mercy and grace that You have shown to me, help me never take You or Your unconditional love for granted. Show me how to sever all ties with the world and cling to You for life. Teach me to seek my answers from Your Word whenever I encounter trials or difficulties. Help me treasure the specialness of an open and reverent relationship with You. Enable me to appreciate, protect and utilize correctly all that You make available to me. Instruct me in the ways of an attentive servant so that I will notice things others do not notice and encourage me to step up when others do not. I want to work at becoming worthy of the love and trust You have placed in me. Show me how to be all that I can be for Your glory, honor, kingdom and service.
Out of the abundance of my heart felt love for You alone, do I cry … “Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my voice. Unto Thee, do I offer my faith and devotion. Unto Thee, do I place my confidence and my trust. Unto Thee, do I offer up all that I am and all that I possess. Unto Thee, do I lift up the sacrifice of a surrendered life. Unto Thee, do I pledge my allegiance and my fidelity. Unto Thee, do I look for Your help and protection. Unto Thee, do I bow down in submission and profound humility. Unto Thee do I entrust my life, my soul and all that is dear to me. Unto Thee, O Lord, do I rejoice in Your generosity and mercy.
May all praise and honor be offered up to You, O King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I look to You for my inspiration and guidance. I’m thankful for Your sharing Your goodness with me … and, offering me the opportunity of a lifetime partnership with You. I am forever bound to You in deepest love and devotion.
