I will bless Your name at all times and I will testify to the good things You have brought into my life, O Lord. If I take pride in anything, it is the fact that Your love me so much that You were willing to die to save me. I am confident that as I praise Your name, You will make my problems evaporate before my eyes. Help me listen so I can hear Your voice when You call out my name and help acknowledge You working in every aspect of my life. As I begin each day, I will reach out to You, believing that You will hear my pleas, answer my prayers and deliver me from the forces of evil. By walking with You daily, I’ve grown in confidence and I’m able to believe that You will deliver me from whatever trouble I find myself or any plot that is conceived to thwart my efforts. As I look to You as the Author and Finisher of my faith, I am being infused with joy, peace and the radiant glow of Your love.
I want to thank You, My Lord for inviting me to sit with You at Your banqueting table so that I might taste and see the goodness of Your love. As my God, You have become a refuge from my enemies, trials and tribulations. I know that my growing respect for You and Your ways will keep me from lacking any good thing I need. I know that as I continue to seek Your will … Your promises will be fulfilled in every aspect of my life. Help me always be faithful to You and Your will. To be able to do so, I must submit myself to Your teachings and guidance because I want to learn the true meaning of “the fear of the Lord.” I have seen that those who do Your will are blessed with favor and bounteous day while those who do not live empty and unfruitful lives. Help me gain control over my tongue and help me stop from letting my mind consort with the enemy. Steer me away from evil and onto a path of righteousness that is filled with peace and contentment.
I have learned that as Your child I have Your protection from trouble. I am heartened by the fact that You work on my behalf to deliver me from them all. I realize and accept the fact that I need Your work of redemption each day and, through its power, You are my defense against the weakness in my flesh, the works of my enemies and the trappings of the world. Hold me in Your arms and reassure me that You will stand with me through all of my struggles. Give me a heart to love my brothers and sisters the way You love me. Keep me true to the values and principles You’ve taught me from my youth. Never let me think of myself more highly than I should … nor settle for anything that is less than Your best. I love and cherish You, My Lord, and bask in the abundance of Your love and blessings. As a result, when troubles present themselves, I reflect on Your protection and the fact I am guided by Your Wisdom … and, ask myself “what troubles?” And it’s in Jesus name I pray. AMEN!!
