My Heavenly King, You alone are good and You become my stronghold when trouble comes to invade my life. I have complete trust in You and believe, with all of my heart, that You will deliver me from them all. When I am hard pressed on every side, I am confident that You will not allow me to be crushed under the weight of my burdens. I will not become perplexed, despair or feel forsaken when adversity closes in on me because You are my faithful Deliverer. Though I become overwhelmed by my circumstances, I know You will refresh me and invigorate me with Your strength so I can persevere. Your hand is always extended to give me help in my times of need. You encourage me to not let my heart to be troubled when facing adversity because You are near and ready to rescue me. Even though I live in a world filled with evil, I know You will never allow it to overcome me.
When I encounter problems, I know You will never allow them to overwhelm me or cause me to flee from the freedom and peace that You offer. I am convinced that with You by my side that all things will work together to produce good for my life. I rejoice in Your generous gift of mercy and grace which sustain me in whatever circumstances I find myself. I look to You as my source of help and I will never doubt Your desire to produce good in my life. I am consoled in knowing that I have a High Priest who sympathizes with my weaknesses and wants to help shore up my faith when it begins to waver. You have emboldened me to come before Your throne imploring You for ample supplies of Your mercy and grace to help me in my times of need. As a result, I’m able to cast all of cares on You who I know cares for me. My life is Yours.
Because of my faith in You, I will not worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will have its own issues to be addressed. Instead, I will focus on today … being and doing all You call me to say or do. Blessed are You who comforts me in the midst of my tribulations and trouble so that I can stand out as a lamp shining Your light of hope to others in need. Your instruction is for me to not become anxious about anything. Therefore, I will turn to prayer and make supplications, with thanksgiving, in the times that I need Your intervention. As I result, I will bask in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing it will guard my heart and mind so I can walk in victory before men. I hereby purpose in my heart that when trouble s surround me, I will come to You, My Stronghold, to shelter me from the fallout that inevitably comes with each one. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
