You alone, O Lord, are worthy to receive honor and praise. As the Creator of all things and the Giver of life, You are worthy of my devotion and adoration. You deserve my allegiance because You have redeemed me from eternal damnation by Your death, burial and resurrection. The life that I live today would not be possible if You had not come to save me … sharing the truths that lead to good health, prosperity and blessings … and, paying the price to free me from the grasp of Satan, death and Hell. You were obedient unto death so that I might live … You were made poor so that I could be rich … and, You were humbled so that I could become an exalted Son of God. Through Your tender love, You have shown me the way to peace, prosperity and happiness. For this, You are worthy of my service and praise.
Through Your unselfishness acts, I’ve been given access to the riches of Heaven. You generously share with me the wisdom of Your Father and put me in the watchful care of the Holy Spirit who guides me in paths of righteousness and truth. You provide me with armor to protect me during times of spiritual battle with the enemy of my soul. You love me when I am unlovable and have made me Your very own. You provide me with a blueprint for living my life as an overcomer and gave me a measure of faith to show me how to trust You more and possess the inheritance You earned for me. You encourage me to be strong when difficulties threatened to overwhelm me. You tell me not to worry because You will always be there to supply my needs. You offer me a refuge from strife and the burdens of life. You give me hope when I want to give up. For this, You are worthy of my devotion.
You have caused a spring of joy to flow from within me as I learn to serve and obey You. You show me that it is better to give than receive … and, to receive of Your abundance, I must become a giver. Humility has become a part of my life as I’ve tried to emulate the example You gave me. I’ve found the way to peace and rest as I pray, meditate and study Your words. You open the doors to the storehouse of Heaven to me as I grow in faith and trust. When I stumble, in the darkness of my confusion, sorrow and doubt, You shine Your light before me and give me Your hand. When I think I have offended You in a most grievous manner, You assure me that nothing can separate me from Your love. When I feel unworthy, You remind me that I am a joint heir with You. Because of the love, care and protection You offer to me, I gladly proclaim, “You are worthy!” And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
