O Gracious and Benevolent Lord, each time I have sought You, You have been there and delivered me from all of my trials. The moment I lift my voice up to You, You are there with a sure hand to rescue me. In so doing, You assure me of Your love and the fact that You will never leave me because, if there are fifty reasons to give up on me, You will find the one that requires You to respond. While I covet the good thoughts, best wishes and prayers from my fellow believers, the very best place to be is in Your loving arms. You are a Mighty and Awesome God who loves justice and dispersed mercy. In my times of anguish, when I call out to You, You come quickly to make me feel safe and drive out fear. You are My Constant Helper in times of need and, in Your strength, I am able to overcome evil. You are my Trusted Companion in whom I can take refuge.
You mean everything to me. You are The Manna, sent down from above, to nourish me and give me strength. You are The Spring of Living Water outpoured so that I could be cleansed of my sins and be refreshed for the journey ahead. You are The Way who has brought me back to The Father and shows me how to navigate the pathways I encounter in my life here on earth. You are The Truth upon which I have built the foundation of my life. As I follow Your principles and instructions, I know that I will be able to stay on the narrow path that leads to life and abundance. It is the truth You teach that has released me from the bondage of sin and freed me to be all that I can be for You. You are the force that sustains me. You fill my life with good things … You help me mature in my faith … and, You take me by the hand and lead me. Since I gave my life to You, You have become a vital part of everything I do.
You alone are worthy to bear the names of The Holy One, The Lord Almighty and The Most High God. For it is through Your loving compassion and tender care that I feel a part of You. Show me how to follow in Your footsteps … love unconditionally, as You do … speak words of wisdom, like You … serve others selflessly, as You did … and, proclaiming the Good News, as You command. Because my journey is often stressful and perplexing, I want You by my side. You are My Fountain of Blessings who washes away my pain and helps me overcome my trials. As Your child, I have found happiness and prosperity through belonging to You. Whatever I lack, You supply … when my spirits are down, You lift them up … when I feel empty, You fill me with Your love … when I feel helpless, You are my strong defense. It’s no wonder that You mean so much to me. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
