I exalt Your name, O Precious Ruler, because You are full of love and Your desire is to share it with me. Your awesomeness is greater than anything I can possibly imagine. Many are those who have received Your blessings and praise You each day … and I am one of them. As I meditate on Your Word and Your works, I see the glorious splendor of Your majesty. They tell me of Your power to do the miraculous and make possible the things that seemed impossible. I celebrate Your abundant goodness and sing with joy as You shine Your light and divine providence on me. I am thankful that You are compassionate, gracious and slow to anger … because I am weak and tend to stumble often. Because of the depth of Your love, You forgive me and restore me to right standing with Yourself. I know You are good to everyone, especially me because … You have always been there when I needed You to bind up my wounds … and, make my fear and worry melt away.
O how I want to understand the power of Your might … the depth of Your wisdom … and, the splendor of Your Kingdom. In them, I am able to gain dominion over evil and take hold of opportunities to live in abundance. I know I can always count on You to honor all of Your promises and love me because You are the One who gave me life. When I stumble, I believe that You will be there to break my fall and help me up. I can always feel Your eyes upon me and I trust You will meet my needs as I bring them to You. Your hand is always opened to me because You are generous and want to give me the desires of my heart. I know I can count on Your justice and fairness to insure I will never fall into the hands of the ungodly. As a result of my devotion to You, You listen for my cries and come to my aid when I am in need. You are my perpetual covering and protection from evil. In Your might and unconditional love, I have built my life.
Help me remain faithful to You by never putting my trust in mortal men who do not have the power to save. There is no one who could ever take Your place of preeminence in my life. For You are the Maker of the heavens and the earth and they willingly submit themselves to You … and, so do I. You uphold all of my causes and You are faithful in even the little things in my life. You care for my every need … You have set me free from sin and death … and, You have opened my eyes to see things I never knew were possible. I know that You love the righteous, so I will put all of my energy into doing what pleases You. Because of Your unconditional love, I know You will sustain me … build me up when I am down … and, teach me how to walk in Your ways. I feel safe in Your arms and trust that Your love is everlasting. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
