I glorify Your name, O Lord, for You are kind and compassionate and Your mercy endures forever. You have shown me that the pathway to Your heart is not found in forming relationships with the world and listening to the counsel of the ungodly. Instead, my delight must be in obeying Your commands and internalizing them so that they become a part of me. As I strive to follow in Your footsteps, I am confident that You will shelter me from harm and I will find favor in Your sight. Because I have committed my life to You, You given me strength to overcome the Evil One and a place of rest. The greatest blessing You’ve bestowed on me is the forgiveness of my sins. For they have been covered by Your blood and, as I repent, my grievances against You are remembered no more. I know that by Your unconditional love, I have been delivered from physical and spiritual destitution. Therefore, when I consider the poor, I must show my appreciation by acting on their behalf. When the dark, foreboding clouds of trouble come upon me like a storm, I will not faint from worry or fear. Instead, I will praise You for Your faithfulness and trust that You will rescue me from them.
I am blessed to be a benefactor of Your goodness and a recipient of Your tender compassion. I have found true happiness in getting to know You are and basking in Your love. I have found contentment in knowing that I am always in Your thoughts and Your desire is to give me good gifts. My hope is that as I persevere in faith, You will continue to show mercy to me, my children and my grandchildren. I know that as I surrender more of myself to You, I’ll be blessed with fullness in my life. As I trust in Your willingness to help me overcome the flaws and mistakes in my life, I will begin to rely on You to help me put Your teachings into practice and honor Your commands. As I follow the leading of Your Holy Spirit and seek to align my life with Your will, Your blessings will become my inheritance. And, because of Your commitment to me, I know You will help me reap the fruits of my labors.
My desire is to rest under the protection of Your wings and see prosperity and good days become a part of my life. As Your joy floods my whole being and faith wells up in my heart, I know that I can ask You for anything I need and You will respond to meet that need. Because of Your vigilance, my enemies cannot triumph over me and I know that I can count on You to deliver me from their hands. In Your steadfast love, You stand in the gap for me. I will not fret because I know that if You are with me … who can be against me? That is why I trust in You alone. In Your tender care, I feel secure and there is no room for fear and doubt. As My Good Shepherd, I am assured that Your unending blessings will be with me always. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
