Most Beloved Son of God, I am overjoyed that You have called people of every nation, lineage, and language to join You at Your banqueting table in Heaven. They will wear white robes (washed in Your blood) and they will present You with love offerings. In unison, they will all cry out “Salvation belongs to You, O Holy One, who sits at the right hand of His Father. All praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and might be unto You for ever and ever.” I count myself one of those people and gladly serve You with all my heart. I have the confidence that I will never have a need that goes unmet. Never will I suffer through circumstances that I cannot overcome with Your help. I know that when I am sorrowful You will wipe away my tears and give me the encouragement I need to get back on my feet. You guarantee my protection and offer me a place to run when things get difficult.
Everything on the earth belongs to You and is subject to Your will. Purify my heart so that I can be worthy of being called “Your own.” Because of Your love, I receive blessings and have been pardoned from the penalties of my sins. Because of Your compassion and tenderness, I willingly bow down in submission to Your will. I rest in the knowledge that You are strong and will come to my rescue when I cry out for help. I know that my success and every good thing in my life comes to me through Your love. Sin and temptation no longer have dominion over me. Because I have been set free, I implore those who stand outside the gates of Your Kingdom to repent and give their hearts to You. I rejoice in the fact that You show Yourself strong and able to bring down any stronghold that intends to enslave Your people. Come to us, My Lord, for we all have needs and we belong to You and always will.
As I learn to walk in Your ways, I am becoming a reflection of You. By aligning myself with You, I can be victorious over sin and temptation … love unconditionally … and be confident in my tomorrows. My Christian life is filled with lessons focused on helping me become more like You. Knowing that Heaven is my home motivates me to strive for the things that are important to You. In striving for a purity that is like Yours, I must walk uprightly and free from the corruptions of sinful yearnings and enticements. Because of Your tender mercy, I have received forgiveness for my sins and an inheritance. I can no longer stand in agreement with the world and its ways … and instead, follow in Your ways and teachings. Since You live in me, I can no longer maintain a relationship with sin. Therefore, when I choose to do what is right in Your sight, I am choosing to be more like You. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
