I give glory and praise to You, Great King, for You have blessed me with all manner of heavenly and earthly blessings. I give You honor because You have given me life and sustain it every day. I need You to walk with me … loving me … comforting me … guiding me … strengthening me … and, protecting me. Whenever evil comes my way, stand in the gap to keep me from harm. I give You thanks for Your covering, for by it I am protected from everything that would otherwise overcome me. I am confident that, with every hardship that comes my way, You will provide me with a way of escape. I am grateful for the times when circumstance and difficulties come storming into my life, and like You did at the Red Sea, You part them so I can escape to safety.
Strengthen me and steady me for my journey ahead because fear is all around me. Through Your word, give me the answers that will calm my fears. You have encouraged me by telling me not to fear sickness and disease because You are the God who heals me … not to fear when my resources evaporate, like water in the desert, because You are the God who supplies all of my needs … not to fear sin because it holds no power over me … not to fear being alone because You promised never leave or forsake me … not to fear when my enemies surround me because if You be for me who can stand against me … not to fear those who can kill my body because they cannot kill my soul … not to fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults because You will make Your righteousness shine over me like a lamp in the night … and, to not fear that You will not hear my prayers because they have already been answered. I know that it is Your desire that I stand my ground and allow You to show me that You are God.
So, when I see my problems melt away like the snow … when I see my enemies and my flesh put under submission to Your will … when I no longer stumble under the weight of adversity and fear … when worry and doubt can no longer climb upon my back … when I begin to walk by faith and not by sight … then I will know that You reign supreme in my life and I possess both the wisdom and power to accomplish the things You want me to do. Through Your wisdom, courage and strength, I am enabled to stand strong against any force that comes against me and draw courage from Your being by my side. These are the reasons I will not fear … You are with me and ready to supply all of my needs. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
