O Risen Lord, I praise Your holy name for You have taken me beyond my wants and beyond my fears delivering me into newness of life. There is nothing in life that I want except more of You. In Your love, I have been brought to a place of peace and contentment with my life. I am overjoyed and strengthened by Your faithfulness and commitment to me. When my spirit sags, You lift it up so I do not slip into the darkness and start feeling sorry for myself. When I am worn down by the daily struggles and challenges I face, You refresh my weary soul and give me the desire to move on. When my future is clouded by confusion and doubt, You lead me onto paths of righteousness and hope. Each day when I awake, I feel Your presence and my whole being wants to reach out to You. Though evil surrounds me on every side, I do not fear because I know You are there.
When I need comforting because I feel vulnerable, I come to the protection of Your rod and staff for protection. Each day I sense and feel Your desire to fill my life with blessings and good things. You have delivered me from the power of sin and enabled me to go forth as an overcomer. Like a loving puppy, I feel Your mercy and goodness following me wherever I go. I have been assured that by giving my life to You I will dwell in Your house forever. You have satisfied my hungry heart with Yourself and Your love. As I meet with You each morning, I am learning to distinguish Your voice and anticipate what You are expecting of me. It is sometimes hard to express how much I care for You and our relationship but, because You know my heart, I am confident that You know how much You mean to me. I will strive to do my part to stay in harmony with You.
Because of all You have done for me, the strife in my life has been minimized and You have made me victorious in my battles with the evil one. In the same way that You withstood the vigor of the cross, so have You made it possible for me to rise above the circumstances that come to break my spirit. By the perfect sacrifice of Yourself, You have set me free and given me the promise of eternal life. In Your steadfast love, You have built a hedge of protection around me and supplied me with a shield to ward off the fiery darts of the enemy. Through Your presence in my life, I have been moved out of darkness and into Your marvelous light. I feel that my life is overflowing with goodness and blessings from above. Not that I deserve it, but because You are merciful and filled with love. For all these reasons, I pledge my faithfulness and devotion to You alone. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
