My Beloved Lord, I rejoice in the fact that when I encounter difficulties, You deliver me from them and the distress they cause. I am thankful You divert my attention from thinking about them while You are dealing with each one. I find myself giving You perpetual thanks for Your unfailing love and the good things You bring into my life. I rejoice in the fact that You have freed me from darkness and the chains of sin that held me prisoner. I want to avoid rebellious behaviors that can only bring me rebukes because I am not acting on the things You are trying to teach me. When I am in pain and in search of healing, I need only check the medicine chest of Your Word for my relief. I am grateful that You quiet the storms in my life and steady me from the winds of fear and worry that torment me. I know my outcomes will turn positive when I heed Your words and consider the love You have for me.
In Your benevolence, I have been ransomed, forgiven, healed, and restored. Your grace and favor seem to follow me in everything I do. When I am under stress, You know just how to relive my anxiety and give me peace. In Your hands, I feel safe and know You will rescue me when I cry out for help. I am grateful that You are a God who is slow to anger and swift to bless. When I am weary from carrying my daily load, You pull me close to You so that I can enter into Your peace and rest. In You, I have found a refuge and a place where I can come to recharge my faith. When I long for more of You, You satisfy my yearning and refresh my soul. When I stumble through the darkness, it is Your light that shows me the way I am to proceed. I am so thankful that You have come to reside in my heart so that I will never be alone again. I look to You to sustain my life and show me ways I can better serve You.
I never want to forget Your dying and Your rising … for in them Your sacrifice has redeemed my life from sin and death. Send forth Your light and Your truth to guide me. Let them show me how to overcome my weaknesses so I can walk uprightly. When I am sad and troubled, if I wait patiently in hope, You will make my way clear. You have shown me the depth of Your love through the gift of mercy. It is through Your awesome power that You sustain me and all of creation. Honor is Your garment and righteousness You crown. Each word that You speak gives me life and hope. You provide me with the courage I need to live in a world filled with darkness and You encourage me to press on when I am faced with obstacles. You have pardoned me for my sins and inspired me to surrender my life to You. Because of Your impact on my life, I will bless Your name forever. And it’s in Jesus name I pray. AMEN!!
