O Gracious Lord, I praise You with all my heart because of the many kindnesses You’ve shown me. I bow down in subjection to You and I honor Your name because of Your unconditional love and faithfulness to me. You are to be exalted above all gods because You and Your Word are trustworthy and pure. Whenever I call out to You, You answer and I feel safe and valued. I will treasure You forever because the words You speak are life and hope to me. Though You are high and lifted up, You do not look down with disdain on my low estate. When I walk through turmoil and troubles, You protect me and stretch out Your hand to take up my burdens. I trust that You will show me how to live in accordance with You will and reap the rewards of my obedience. Because You love me with an everlasting love, I know You will never abandon me nor forsake me. You called me into existence through Your mighty power and I am confident that I will be sustained by that same power.
All-knowing God, You have searched my motives and know everything there is to know about me. You know when I awake in the morning and when I close my eyes at night. You are familiar with all of my ways … both the good and the bad. Before I can say a word, You know what is on my heart. You walk before me and behind me and cover me with Your protection. There is no place I can go to hide from You. Nothing I do is done in secret. You have laid Your hands upon me and given me Your blessing. I want to be wise like You, but I’m afraid Your knowledge is too great to absorb … but I trust that You will help me understand the things I need to know and You will enable me to walk in the ways that You are teaching me. When darkness comes over me so I cannot see my way clearly, I am counting on You to shine Your light on to my way so I can correct my path and move toward a better place.
I give glory to You, My King, for I am a living miracle. I was put together in my mother’s womb where you wove the very fabric of who I am. Grasping the specialness of my gift of life and seeing all that You do to sustain it is truly remarkable. I rejoice in the wonder of Your thoughts and feelings toward me … and, I marvel at the innumerable possibilities that are mine through Your love. Search me, O Lord, and eliminate every impure thing. Test me and mold me into the person You’ve always intended for me to become. All of Your promises are laid out in Your Word so I can find them and put them to use in improving my station. I am grateful that You have always been there for me … whether I deserved it or not. Everything that I am is the result of being conformed into Your image through Your teachings and my responding positively. As a result, I owe everything to you. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
