Most Glorious Savior, You are the One who called me out of darkness and led me into Your marvelous light. You are the One who speaks words of comfort and shows me how to get around my problems and struggles. You help me overcome my obstacles and shows me the way to victory. Your encouragement gives me hope concerning my future. You speak if I am willing to listen … you listen when I have something to say. It is You who takes me by the hand and leads me to the destiny. You call me to follow You and I willingly come. Through the Holy Spirit, You have taught me to love Your laws and internalize Your words. You are the living Word who came to dwell among us so we could learn to walk in Your ways. You are the glue that binds me to other believers and make us One with You. You have given me much, so much is expected. Help me become the clay so You can transform me with Your hands.
You have searched me and know me well. All that I think and all that I do are seen by You. When I walk or lie down, You are there with me. You have created me for Your own purpose and will sustain me so that I can achieve it. You have discerned my life experiences and my imaginations, and I am convinced You can bring them into conformity with Your will. Your love is everlasting and surrounds me every moment of life or death. Fill my head with pleasant thoughts and kindness of Your words. I want to feel the peace that comes from being sold out to You. You are my past, present and future. As each day unfolds, I seek the shelter of Your love for it covers and protects from the temptations of evil. In Your presence there is no darkness for You are the Prince of Light and Revelation. I praise You for the wonder of who I am, and I want to become more like You.
Like a shepherd calling his sheep, I know Your voice and respond to it. When You call my name, I listen to what You say and strive to do it. With a joyful heart, I lift my praise in gratitude for all You’ve done for me. When I get to partake of Your Body and Blood, I feel One with You and I know that Your goodness has come to be a part of me. Your presence in my life is something I want to share with others and the more I do the bigger Your Kingdom becomes. I rejoice in the fact that You came to earth to give Yourself to me and show me a way to selflessness. When I think of how important You are to me, my heart wants to burst. You are so deserving and worthy of my praise. For in Your suffering and death, I have been given a place in heaven. You’ve replaced my weakness with Your strength and taught me the way of a servant’s heart. Therefore, I want to become like You. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
