Show me Your kindness, O God of Love, for each day I awake anxious to hear Your voice and I am attentive to receive Your calling. I long for the tenderness and comfort that marked Your appearance here on earth. I am made joyful in knowing that You give me favor and fill my life with good things. You have forgiven my sins and have made a way for me to come into Your heart. I am thankful for Your promise to show me peace and Your undying affection as I follow You. Your love and faithfulness are my inheritance and Your righteousness and peace guide my life. You provided every good thing in my life and give me the means to reap an abundant harvest. I am grateful for Your supplying me with the means to walk uprightly through the gift of the Holy Spirit. When I obey Your commands, I know that You will not withhold anything that I need.
Each day I watch as You rebuild the wasteland in my life that I have created through ignorance or mistakes or missteps. Give me a heart that yearns for peace with You through repentance. Revive me and bring me to a higher level of spiritual life. Cause me to yearn to serve You and others. Pour into me Your love so I can give You some of mine. My desire is to become less so that You can become more in my life. Cleanse me and wash me in Your sacrificial blood so that I can be made white as snow. Expand my heart so that I can receive more of You and become more like You. Help me to be ever vigilant for the deceptions of my enemy who wants to pull me away from You. I want Your involvement in my daily life expanding my faith and deepening my devotion to You. I love You and need Your kindnesses to be a part of every day of my life.
Help me be the person You want me to become. Through Your mercy and grace, I know I can be changed to be more like You. I need an infusion of Your strength to help me overcome my flesh and live for You. As You fill my life with good things, I pledge to give You glory for them all. Through Your gift of salvation, I have come to know the meaning of peace and received the comfort I need to stand during my many trials. What I need to get me through the testing and hardships that I encounter is a fresh touch of Your love. I believe that as You teach me Your truths, I will become better in walking in Your ways. Give me an undivided heart so I can follow You alone. Among all the gods, there is none like You because You are great and have done marvelous deeds. Therefore, my life is filled with hope and my dwelling place is in Your loving kindness. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
