Most Glorious Savior, since You came into my life so many things have changed. Sunrises and sunsets seem so much more glorious. Mountains seem to be taller and the sky’s color seems to be a deeper hue of blue. Breezes whisper comforting and calming sensations that bring peace to my heart. With Your love flowing into me, I feel safe and secure. I’ve learned how much our friendship means to You. I find myself singing a more joyful song than before. Hope abounds within me and the possibility of overcoming evil with good seems more realistic. The beautiful things of Your creation, which I’ve taken for granted, seem so magnificent and fill me with awe. I can feel Your power within me helping to persevere through difficulties and aiding me in overcoming problems. Adversity is no longer something that I fear … rather, an opportunity to witness Your work in creating better outcomes for my life.
My heart is filled with joy today that was not there in the past. My thoughts seek out ways to become more like You. I am much more aware of the seeds of faith being sown in my heart as I read and study Your Word. I feel the tugging of the Holy Spirit showing me the way to better choices and how to walk uprightly. I’m not feeling so helpless … rather, more enabled to become all that I can be. I can tell from my daily walk and my thought patterns that my faith in You is growing more and more each day. I see my potential, as Your child, being limited only by the effort I’m willing to put forth. I know that it is Your abounding love that draws me down a path toward righteousness. With You by my side, fear and worry have no place in my life. I’m learning to stand on Your Word and faithfulness when hard times come upon me. I feel Your presence in every aspect of my life.
As I put myself in Your hands and express true sorrow and repentance over my sins, the cleansing work of the Holy Spirit makes me feel whole again. I now see sin as abhorrent and something that grievously offends You. I know that You love me and accept me as I am, but I want to become better. I trust in Your plans to enhance my life and I want to cooperate with them. I am always aware of Your presence with me when everyone else has left me all alone. Like a sheep in Your fold, I hear and acknowledge Your voice as You speak words of knowledge and life into my inner being. I am confident at the beginning of each new day that You care deeply about what happens to me. When the clouds of hopelessness and despair gather around me, all I need to do is reflect on how much my life has changed since You came into it and everything looks better. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
