Most Gracious Lord, because of Your love, I’ve been given life with a call on it and a job to be done. However, along the way, I’ve found out that life holds many twists and turns that require me to adapt and adjust in order to manage it effectively. Some of these include:
- Life is filled with opportunities … and I must take advantage of them all if I am to have a full life.
- Life is full of dreams … and I must work diligently to make them come true.
- Life is full of all kinds of challenges … I must stand up to them if I am to be an overcomer.
- Life is like a game … which I must give my all to win.
- Life holds promises … I must reach out to attain them all.
- Life is filled with responsibilities … and I should not shy from mine … instead, attack them vigorously.
- Life is filled with sorrows … I need to face each one and get past them so I can live in peace and joy.
- Life is like a melody … which must be listened to the whole way before its beauty can be understood.
- Life is filled with struggles … I just need to roll up my sleeves, dig in and beat them back.
- Life has points where tragedy strikes … I must confront them and overcome them with patience, perseverance and faith.
- Life is an adventure … and I need to enjoy every moment of each trip.
- Life contains many blessings that are called luck … I know better … its divine providence.
- Life is a gift given of God … with an expectation to do something meaningful with it … and lived to bring Him glory.
I’m glad that You’ve given me life so that I might know, love and serve You. Help me walk boldly in the freedom You earned for me on Calvary and show me how I can demonstrate the high esteem I have for You. What I’ve come to realize is that I have an abundant life with You at the center of it and that’s the way it should be. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
