You Are Enough – Part IV

My Beloved God, I thank You for the gift of Faith.  For by faith I’m connected to You and it acts as a stairway from my need to Your supply.  Through faith, I show my dependence on You and my willingness to do Your will.  Your Word tells me, that if I possess faith the size of a mustard seed, I can move mountains.  What this tells me is that faith in You allows me to handle anything.  By faith in You, my eyes have been opened to Your truths which in turn moves me from darkness into light and from the power of Satan to Yours.  I trust that my faith will grow as I meditate on Your Word and apply it to my life.  It is exciting to walk by faith and not by sight because believing does not require seeing, but faith requires believing what I do not see with my eyes.  A key component of faith is its expression through love and trust in You and a desire to share You with others.  In my walk, I must never forget that the testing of my faith is a lesson in perseverance and my hardships are opportunities to learn a better way.

O Wondrous God of Wisdom, I am blessed beyond measure to be able to share in Your Wisdom.  When I choose to follow Your ways, You align my outcomes with your truths.  As I read Your Word, it leads me down a path of righteous living, helps me develop meaningful relationships and enables me to make good decisions.  Through Your words, I am given practical lessons for daily living.  My goal is to diligently study the truths You share with me so I can put them to work in my life.  The reason I want to draw closer to You is so I can learn how to exercise good judgment, develop self-discipline, live prudently, do what is fair and just, practice discretion and teach others Your principles of life.  In order to walk in Your Wisdom, I must listen intently, accept Your teachings as my own, store them in my heart and live them out daily.  The Holy Spirit has been given to help me in searching for Your knowledge and understanding.  I will never forsake Your Wisdom because in it I find protection, love and peace.

O God of Love, I know that because I love You I am known of You.  And I am happy to know that even before I loved You, You loved me enough to lay down Your life for mine.  I feel Your love through Your watching over me, protecting me, helping me in times of trouble, delivering me from evil, showing me mercy, taking up my burdens as Your own and preventing me from going astray.  To truly love You requires that I love Your Word, seek You with all my heart, forgive others, obey Your commands and encourage others to act in love and do good.  I understand that if I love the world, I cannot love You.  For my love to be sincere, I must hate what is evil, cling to what is good and be as devoted to You as You are to me.  Because I’ve become rooted and grounded in You, I now understand the length, width and depth of Your love.  As my source of Faith, Wisdom and Love, I know You are more than enough to help me succeed in whatever I undertake for You.  And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray.  AMEN!!

I John 2:5 But if anyone obeys His Word, God’s love is truly made complete in him.
