Glorious Son of God, I give You praise for the wisdom and power that reside in You. In Your hands rests the power to change circumstances and events as You see fit. As I open myself to You, I am gifted with Your wisdom which allows me to choose rightly between good and evil. In You, I am able to distinguish what is real and true. This enables me to discern between the lies perpetuated by the kingdom of darkness and the things seen clearly in Your light. Through Your mercy and grace, I am able to separate truth from lies … reality from delusions … and, the meaningless sayings of men from sound principles to live by. I rejoice in the fact that my eyes have been opened to the reality of Your Kingdom. This allows me to reject the lies and distortion which try to impersonate truth. Your mercy and grace are no longer mysteries to me. I see them as the tools You use to free me from the things that have kept me bound.
Now that my eyes have been opened, I see as the One who can turn my impossibilities into results that can be achieved. Your light shows me a path forward and opens doors to me that were once closed. I am excited and relieved to know that Yours eyes watch over me at all times and You guide me in paths of righteousness. I never want to forget the prayers You have answered so that they will remind me of Your perpetual care. In appreciation for all that You do for me, I want to give You shouts of praise. As I experience things in my life that I cannot master, I know that if I turn to You for answers, You will provide me with the wisdom I need to prevail. As I see circumstances that do not seem fair to me, I will not doubt … instead, I will trust that in Your justice You will overcome evil with good. As I wait patiently, I am able to watch the power of Your Word turn my outcomes to positive ones.
I am consoled in knowing that You have control over all things. When I see evil prevailing, I know I can count on You to correct it as I move forward. I believe that You govern all things in accordance with Your purposes … and, that includes my life. This gives me the confidence of knowing that no matter whatever difficulties I face … I will triumph over them. When troubles block my path, if I remain patient, You will show me the way around them. I am overwhelmed with joy as I explore the depths of Your Word and discover the power of the Holy Spirit to help me understand its precepts and put them to work in my life. I now understand that nothing is hidden from my eyes when I search diligently for Your truth. Worry and doubt seem to fade away as my faith grows. As a result, I am able to see You as the source of all goodness in my life. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
