I rejoice in being Yours, O God, for You have blessed me with an abundance and, as a result, I have shown You respect and found delight in Your commands. I am a part of Your creation and You have called one of Your elect. You have showered me with Your kindness and made me rich in many ways. You’ve poured out Your mercy and grace upon me as I respond to Your call. Your love and compassion are dispensed to me as I walk in Your ways. Your blessings accrue to me when I conduct my affairs justly and unselfishly. Surely I will not be shaken with You by my side. In Your strength, I will remain confident until I have triumphed over my enemies. Those who are wicked will see Your generosity to me and they will be vexed and tormented because they are not beneficiaries of Your blessings. Your reign is over all the earth and Your righteousness endures forever.
Because You have done many deeds on my behalf, I will forever praise Your name. From the rising of the sun, until the setting of the same, Your name will be continually on my lips. For who is like You, O God? You are the Mighty One who sits on His throne ruling over all earth … yet You look down each day to check on me and You’ve stretch out Your hand to help me in my times of need. You have raised me from the dust and given me a purpose for my life. You have taken upon Yourself my sins, sicknesses and afflictions. “Burden Bearer” is the name I’ve given to You and Your love for me far exceeds anything I could ever imagine. The whole earth trembles at the mention of Your name, but I rejoice in knowing You are never far away. You are my Rock and Sure Foundation in whom I trust and am sustained throughout my days.
I love You, My Lord, for You hear my pleadings and pour out Your mercy upon me. Because You faithfully respond to my needs, I will follow You so long as I live. While the snares of sin and death have been laid out to entrap me, You are ever-present to help me escape my troubles and sorrow. For this, I praise Your name and rejoice in belonging to You. You are a Wonderful God, filled with goodness, compassion and always available to help me. In Your loving arms, I feel at peace and I can rest from my labors. When my eyes fill with tears and my feet stumble, You are there to wipe away the tears and give me a steadying hand. How can I ever repay You for Your goodness? By praising You with joy … by fulfilling my vows to live my life according to Your principles … and, by sharing Your love and kindness with others. How precious You are to me. I am extremely thankful for the abundance of the blessings that You’ve poured out over me. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
