I give praise and honor to You, Christ My King, for Your love is as vast as the sky above. Each day as I awake, I know that my day will be blessed because Your love will be watching over me like a mother watches over her newborn baby. When I open my eyes to a beautiful sunrise and sense the freshness of a new day, I am also aware or Your awesome power and loving concern for me. When I look all around me and see the things You have created, I see Your glory and majesty. In the tenderness of Your love, I am aglow with hope, faith and joy. As I look around me, I see all of the special people and things You have put into my life. As I go about my day, I feel You following me wherever I go and I know I am safe. Your love surrounds me with calmness and protection. As long as I live, I know that Your love will be the source of my comfort and rest.
I sometimes wonder why fear engulfs me when problems invade my life. For if I listen carefully, I know I will be able to hear Your voice. You have never abandoned me when troubles come my way nor have You left me alone to fend for myself. In Your love, reassurance replaces my anxiety and worry. As You cover me with protection and meet my every need, I have become a bold witness regarding Your faithfulness … so why can my faith be shaken? Each day I see Your hand at work in my life and Your loving kindness taking up my burdens. It is in my times of struggle that I am most thankful for Your compassion and forgiveness because I know I have fallen short of Your expectations … and I can see that Your mercy is endless and everlasting. In moments of weakness, You have been there to uphold me and give me a helping hand. Your counsel is filled with wisdom and fixes whatever I’ve broken in my life. The more I seek of You, the stronger I become.
O Glorious Son of God, I come before You on bended knees seeking more of Your forgiveness, love and guidance. I need You in my life so that I can walk in Your ways and be conformed into Your likeness. Give me the faith to trust You and believe all things will work out for my good. When I flounder or go astray, take my hand and lead me back to safety. Life is full of decisions that I must make … in the abundance of Your goodness, help me make good ones. Through life’s trials and triumphs … with its ups and downs … I am confident that You will be there to show me my way forward. Your power has no limits, so lift me above the fray so I can find contentment and become a force for good. I know that my life will get better as I walk in Your endless love. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
