O God of Goodness, I rejoice in the fact that, if I seek You, I will not lack any good thing. For when I am thirsty You give me to drink and when I am hungry You give me to eat until I’m full. I am filled with excitement knowing You pour out Your Spirit upon me and empower me to overcome adversity. If I trust You and do good, I am confident that You will meet all of my needs. In life, You are teaching me to live with times of little and times of plenty. As a result, I am filled with gladness and can rest in peace knowing You have everything under control. When adversity comes into my life, I will seek sanctuary in You and will count on Your love and kindness to help me prevail. Regardless of what I face, I will be faithful in praising You and live a life that gives You glory. As I reflect on Your promises, I am believing that You will honor them and good things will become a part of my life.
As Your child, I know Your desire is to fill my life with good things and give me the desires of my heart. I appreciate the way that You treat me and how eagerly You come to my aid when I’m dealing with my problems. I treasure our relationship and will never forget Your many benefits … how You forgive my failings … heal my sicknesses … satisfy me with good things … and, renew my strength when I am weak. You alone can satisfy the longings of my heart and fill my soul with everlasting joy. You are My Deliverer so I trust You and do not become fearful when facing adversity. You give me hope when there is none and take away my sadness when I am dejected. Whenever my life becomes barren and dry, I will stop at the well of refreshing and drink from the waters of gladness. As My Lord, You are able to make grace abound toward me so I’ll be equipped to handle my problems. When I feel empty, You fill me with love.
I am confident that whenever I call out to You, You will be there to help me overcome any obstacles that I am facing. I will not think it strange when I encounter trials which try my faith and cause me to persevere. When I am sad, I will count on You to console me. When my joy and zest for life slips fades, I will rely on the Holy Spirit to remind me of all the times You’ve come to my aid. I am so blessed to be the beneficiary of Your kindness in my times of struggle and Your comfort when I am undergoing tribulations. I promise not to become fearful or worry when things seemingly get out of control because I know You possess the solutions I need. When I feel lost and my life is drifting aimlessly … I know that as I turn to You … You will guide me and give me reason to hope again. Whenever I have questions about Your devotion or faithfulness, I’ll reflect on the many times You’ve blessed me and I know that my outlook will change. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
