Most Glorious Shepherd, guide me and direct me as I go about my day. I trust that Your love will be with me always … Your words will speak the truths by which I must live … and, as I give You my all, You will see me through any difficulties I encounter. As I travel down life’s road, when I face trouble, I will give it my best knowing that if I cannot work it out and call out to You … You will do the rest. I know I must learn to incorporate Your ways into my ways so that I can walk in peace, safety and wisdom. Going it alone is dangerous, but taking on the most difficult issues in my life will be easier with Your help. As I seek Your guidance, I experience less stress and the changes I need to make become less of a struggle. When I search Your Word for my direction, You shine a light on my circumstances that helps me discern the direction I should go or the actions I must take to correct things. To “let go and let God” is a practice I should put into action regularly in order to maintain peace and contentment in my life.
You have opened up a vast opportunity for me to walk in holiness and understanding through the working of the Holy Spirit in my life. He is both my Comforter and Guide … He is my source of strength when I am weak … and, He shows me the path of least resistance in getting to where I need to go. He was sent to be my Teacher and the One who walks me through the lessons of life. He is tender, patient and compassionate in dealing with me. He is not afraid to correct me if I go astray and He stands with me to insure I get things right. In sorrow, I know I’ve neglected my relationship with the Holy Spirit, but I know in my heart that He is the One with all of the solutions for what is wrong in my life. I have great respect for His power and cunning as He helps me resist the advances of my enemies. He is tireless in His efforts to support me when I let Him take the lead and follow in His footsteps. I know that I have great potential and I want the Holy Spirit to bring it out of me.
Praise to You, O Wise One, for You are the Way, the Truth and the Light. In Your Wisdom, You know the way I must go and You want to show me the way to get there. Your desire is for me to walk on solid ground so You’ve given me the strong foundation of Your Word on which to build. And, when I flounder because of the darkness, the marvelous light of Your love and goodness shines into my life to give me hope and direction. The goals I strive for are … Your peace reigning in my life … the freshness of the Holy Spirit residing in my heart and mind … and, my love and trust in You conquering all my fears. Each day, I anxiously wait to see You manifest Yourself in ways I’ve never experienced before. I am trusting that You will continue to show me the way I am to go in order to enter into Your peace and prosperity. And it’s in Jesus” name I pray.
