Two Choices – Saved or Unsaved

My Faithful Redeemer, I rejoice in the fact that You have turned back my enemies and given me a clear path to an eternity with You. You resist those who try to harm me and always stand by my side. I am thankful that You are my Advocate before the Father. You have rebuked my enemies and have destroyed their power over me. You cause endless ruin to those who try to impede my progress in growing closer to You. You uproot those who try to block my path forward. I know that You judge all things righteously and govern Your creation with justice. You are my Refuge when I feel oppressed and my Stronghold in times of trouble. Your ears are constantly attuned to my cries when I am afflicted. You encircle me with a hedge to keep me safe from my enemies. Those who choose not to accept You dig a pit to fall into and their feet become entangled in the snares of the enemy.

Why Lord do You let men get away with doing evil? The unsaved man lives by the degenerate cravings of his flesh. He devises schemes to take down the vulnerable and unsuspecting. His pride is great and there is no room for You in his heart. His motives are fed by greed and his mouth is full of deceit. His ways seem to always prosper, and Your laws make no sense to him. Self is god and not You. He is under the delusion that nothing can upset him … he appears to always be happy, and troubles never gather outside his door. His mouth is full of cursing, lies, and threats. Evil follows him wherever he goes. His falsehoods wait to take advantage of the unsuspecting and unlearned. He can’t wait to capture a victim and keep them under his control. Those captured by him are crushed and lose all hope. They feel there is no way to escape his influence.

Do not forget the helpless and those who have no understanding. The unsaved feel there is no one to hold them accountable. But I know You see the problems and troubles that afflict Your own and take up their cause. You break the hold that evil has on their lives and give them hope for tomorrow. Hear the cries of Your people and come to their rescue. Encourage those who are weak, and their faith is waning. I rejoice in the fact that You have pledged to stand with those of us who need You. When Your presence is welcomed, pride and self must be removed from our lives. I know that You see every act in the life of a Believer and You continually encourage us to do what is right. You are close to Your own and watch over them as birds watch over their hatchlings. I am glad that I made the decision to surrender my life to You and gladly accept the benefits of an heir. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!

John 14:6 I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
