Most Holy God, You have said in Your Word that every good and every perfect gift comes from above. I can attest to Your unending flow of good things that have filled my life. It is through Your virtue, omnipotent power and omnipresence that you are able to bless my life at all times and in all places. I call the gifts that You dispense into my life blessings and, because of them, I am blessed. As my Creator, Your desire is to fill my life with happiness and prosperity. Everything You do is meant to confer some beneficial aspect to my life. Because of Your love and kindness, You have a vested interest in my overall welfare … meeting all of my needs, being there when I need You, protecting me from evil, sustaining me in difficult times and offering me a place of refuge from my struggles.
Since I’ve committed my life to You, I’m walking in Your favor, my life is filled with good things and I’m experiencing more joy than I could have ever imagined. When I contemplate Your blessings, I am reminded that hope fills my life when clouds of doom come rushing in and I feel Your joy replacing the sorrow and remorse I sometime feel. You uplift me with Your positive and encouraging words. I am gifted with Your energy and motivation when I’m about to give up. You restore my faith when I’m about to succumb to doubt. You’ve provided me with relief as You’ve taken my burdens upon Yourself when they become too heavy for me to bear. Your kind and tender displays of affection boost my spirit when I feel battered and bruised. And, Your warm embrace comforts me when I feel like I’ve failed You or things haven’t gone my way.
You are the calm in the middle of my storms. You are my guide who takes me by the hand and shows me my way forward when things get fuzzy. Your wise counsel helps me make good decisions and helps me gain greater understanding. You are my place of safety and refuge in times of trouble. You lead me to places of peace and rest when I am tired. When no one else seems to care, I know that You do. You are the sure foundation upon which I have built my life and nothing can tear it down. You have promised that you will bless me abundantly … if I don’t hold back and I’m willing to obey Your commands. Through You, I am increasing in faith, winning my battles against the Evil One and becoming a blessing to others. For all of the abundance You’ve given to me, I give You praise. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
